Dr Joanna Ewa KlejnotowskaConsultant Paediatrician with Special Interest in Developmental Paediatrics


    Dr Klejnotowska is Consultant Paediatrician, working in Community Paediatrics and Neurodisability Service in Sheffield Children’s NHS Foundation Trust seeing children and young people with a wide range of developmental problems and behavioural disorders including Autism and ADHD. She graduated Medical University in Gdansk, Poland in 1993 and has been working as NHS Consultant since 2006. She was Consultant Representative on East Riding Autism Diagnostic Service for 11 years. She is currently involved in Autism diagnostic multidisciplinary assessments in Paediatric Neurodisability Service in Sheffield and Autism Spectrum Assessment Service in East Riding of Yorkshire.

    She is Educational and Clinical Supervisor in Postgraduate Paediatric Training.


    •Dr Joanna has vast experience in the multi-disciplinary diagnostic assessments for Autism Spectrum Conditions for children and young people from 2 years to 18 years of age. She is a certified ADOS2 user (including toddler module) and ADI-R user.
    •She has experience in assessment and management of Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder and management of sleep difficulties in children.
    •She has experience in assessment of developmental impairment and is Registered Griffiths III user. She is interested in genetic conditions and their impact on child’s development.
    •Dr Joanna has vast experience in giving medical recommendations as part of Special Educational Needs Assessment and Plan.
